KWM celebrates a new chapter for its EUME network

On 5 June, partners from King & Wood Mallesons’ (KWM) international network and over 120 clients and guests gathered at London’s Guildhall Art Gallery to celebrate a new chapter for the firm in the UK, Europe and the Middle East (EUME). More than 60 KWM partners attended, from the firm’s UK, Europe, Middle East, China, Hong Kong and Australia offices.

Addressing clients at the London event, KWM Global Chairman, Wang Junfeng, said, “Today marks a new chapter of KWM EUME. As part of our unwavering commitment to this part of the world, we will continue to build and strengthen our presence in the UK and elsewhere in EUME. A strong foothold in this region is essential for us to continue to work with our clients operating or investing here. We are excited about the future: there are vast opportunities for our European clients in the Asia region and vice versa for our Asian clients, including the One Belt One Road initiative (OBOR). This is a key area for us as a firm as it is not only important to our clients but also touches upon every area of our legal practice.”

KWM’s EUME platform consists of offices in London, Frankfurt, Madrid, Brussels, Milan and Dubai. The platform focuses on Corporate M&A, Finance, Competition and Dispute Resolution.
